Anyone have any experience with those bulbs? I am thinking of buying these and installing them on the truck since the stock lights are utter crap.

I just wish they had made it easier to swap bulbs. Most of the aftermarket bulbs don;t last as long as the original style, si it would have been nice to make it easier to get the bulbs out and in.
Yesterday on the highway a Silverado passed me really slowly on the lefft. We both had our headlights on and as he passed I could easily see the difference between our headlights.....Sad. No.....it is a sin actually.

Any aftermarket bulb if you will, that are marketed to be brighter and whiter, are simply overdrawn. They run hotter, use more current, and can melt your wiring harness. Luckily the Ram already uses a beefy harness capable of withstanding any bulb put into the socket. The TIPM will also allow aftermarket bulbs to be used because the circuit is designed to withstand a higher current draw before the circuit goes into fault mode.
The main problem with overdrawn bulbs is that your taking an otherwise stock bulb and feeding it additional current by lowering the resistance of the filament. This drastically reduces life! It reduces life by about half. So, to gain an additional 10-20% of light output, you'll reduce the lifespan considerably. Not something that is really worth it IMO.
I would recc'd instaling some driving lights to aid in visibility on those dark wet nights. Install some Hellas behind the grill or something similar.
Do you not have Fogs? My stock lights were very good on my '08 but only because the fogs made them very good. With no fogs, the lighting was just marginal.

Yeah I drive a Tahoe at work, and their lights and brights are so much better. I am just looking at something to help with night driving.

They are pretty well liked in the 2nd Gens provided you have clean clear head light assemblies.

Edited, wrong lights.
