I had a bad battery in our 2005 Grand Cherokee once. Acted somewhat the same. I'd come out to the garage in the morning to start and it was totally unable to turn over. After charging or jumping it was fine for days. Then, on another day it was stone dead again. Happened 3 or 4 times like that. Definitely not related to anything being left on. Had battery tested and it passed all tests. Finally just replaced it and the issue was resolved. I figured the battery had some internal damage that was shorting out intermittently.
