Question about 2013 bumpers
Hopefully I will be purchasing my new 1500 soon, but I had a quick question that I wasn't sure if the dealer was BSing me about. I want the 3.6 V6, but I also want the painted bumpers. The dealer was saying the only way to get the 3.6 was with the SLT which comes with chrome bumpers. Is there any other way to get both? He was saying I couldn't even order a custom built this way. From searching this board it looks like swapping the front would cost $2000+ which doesn't seem worth it. Any suggestions? Thanks, and hopefully I will be spending much more time on here.

I'm only seeing the V6 on the Tradesman and SLT, as well as the HFE package.
There is no such thing as custom ordering anymore, you have certain options available and that's it. You'd have to find a pull-off bumper or have the chrome one painted.

The dealer is correct. As it currently stands, there is no way to order the configuration of the painted bumpers and the 3.6L at this time.
