Default New to Forum - Need Towing Capacity Help

Hello, I'm new to this forum and joined mainly because I need some help with towing capacities. I've been finding a great deal or inconsistencies on the web and hoping someone can provide assistance.

I have a 2010 Dodge 3500 Heavy Duty Diesel and some sites I've visited say I can tow 13K lbs while other sites such as http://www.ramtrucks.com/en/towing_p..._ram_2500_3500 says I can tow 17K lbs.

I want to tow a 5th wheel tow hauler that weighs about 14,600 dry weight. Can I tow this without ruining my truck?

Please help!!!
Thank you,
Terry

Terry,

I believe that inconsistencies exist because it really depends alot on how the vehicle is equipped. I suggest you go with what the official Ramtrucks.com site says. If you would like me to look up your exact vehicle, PM me your vin and simply list "towing capacity" in the title and I will let you know for sure what Ram has for the capacity of your vehicle.
