I recently purchased a used 2012 Ram 3500 with 40K on it. Well the 130 R sirius radio in it is dying a slow death. AM channels don't work at all and the FM channels are barely hanging on. Sirius is still working fine as well as the CD player. The dealer is trying to get Chrysler to warranty the radio but I keep getting the run around and since the place I bought it from is 900 miles away, I feel the green weeny is gonna get me on this.
Soooo I'm really wanting to swap out the 130 head with a OEM touch screen head so I can also hook up an OEM backup camera. Aftermarket heads look to be a pain in the **** and I don't want to cut my dash up. I am assuming since my truck is a 2012, it has the high speed bus head in it??? I've done a bunch of searches here and other places but all that did was left me with more questions on this!!!
Will any 2012 High speed bus 430N MyGig or 730N in any "R" configuration from a Jeep,Chrysler,Dodge,Ram vehicle work in my truck? I've come across a 430N RHB I'm thinking of buying that is out of a 2012 Jeep but want to make sure it will work before I buy it.
