Default 2012 ram muffler delete

Wanting my exhaust done and I heard a truck with a muffler delete and I love the sound of it. I'm thinking about it now, but some guy said something about a Mds drone and I don't know what that is.

Anyone else here have a muffler delete and have any issues with it? The guy claims yea never had a problem with his truck since his delete was done.

MDS drone would be when the engine goes into 4 cylinder mode. The only way you would get rid of it would be to have a programmer that shuts off MDS.

As for the muffler delete itself - your neighbors must love you.

How do you mean - won't effect anything? You will likely loose some power, since the truck is designed to expect some back pressure. When the truck drops into MDS mode it will sound really odd. People driving, walking anywhere near you might want to hurt you

Maybe think about an exhaust cutout, so that you can make noise on demand and won't have to deal with your ears ringing every time you drive the truck.
