Default '09 - CD will not eject...Help!

I placed a CD in the factory receiver in my 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 and now it will not eject. How do I manually eject the CD?

Gabegober,

If the CD is not coming out through the electronic eject button, there is no way to manually eject it. You would have to bring the vehicle in for an inspection and the dealer will be able to advise what repairs would be necessary.

Remember, you need to unplug the toaster before you stick the knife in.

I hope this helps.

Maybe try disconnecting ALL power to the unit and that might reset it. This would probably involve removing two fuses or pulling the positive battery cable for a minute or so.

I've had a similar issue, when the thing was slow to eject. I had to hold the button a little longer than usual. What receiver do you have?

Open the cover and when its open, press the seek up, seek down and the audio buttons at the same time. Voila it should come out.
