I have a 2013 ram. It has the upgraded rear end with 3.92 gears. Just curious if anyone else has experienced a loud bang as the tires start slipping. It almost sounds like you dropped a drive shaft or blew out the rear end .

 

I have a 2012 with 3.92 & Limited Slip. I never get any banging. If I'm on wet pavement I can spin the tires (or tire? not sure how to tell if limited slip is actually working). If I put it in 4wd auto, as soon as they start to spin the 4wd kicks in and it's a bit of a jolt, but nothing I would consider a bang.
