Default Need OEM Ram 2500 coil springs and info!

I am changing out the snow plow prep package coil springs on my 2011 regular cab 2500 4x4 with 5.7 hemi. I don't use a snow plow and I want a softer ride. Dodge has several coil springs listed that will fit my truck but I don't know which ones are correct. I have researched some of the part numbers and found that they are used on the diesel as well as the hemi equipped trucks. That does not seem right. The diesel would surely require a stiffer coil spring. I think that the springs I need may be part number: 68050555AA (ZEF) (ZTF). All of the springs have 2 sets of letters that may indicate what spring rate they are. Does anybody know what these letters mean? I don't want coil springs that are stiff enough for the much heavier diesel engine, I want a softer ride. I love this truck but I'm tired of the rough ride it has! Any info helping me select the best coil springs for a softer smoother ride will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!!

Swapping out the front coils will not give you a better ride, Your driving A HD truck that is built to ride this way, if you want a car with a box ride, any 1500 TRUCK will ride like your dancing on silk.

Droping the tire pressure to 55 psi instead of the 80 max will improve your ride running empty and Nitro tires, dura grappler or tera grapler or a excellent replacement tires, my, 06 2500 rides on clouds.

Bigger axles on the ctd, other wise suspension and steering are identical, right down to the non serviceable u joints, and ball joints.

My company truck is a Ram 2500 and rides MUCH better than my 2500. The stiff springs that come with the snow plow prep pkg. on my truck do indeed make it ride rougher. Otherwise, why even have all of these different springs? I have owned several 3/4 ton trucks and none have rode this stiff.

Use the VIN from the company truck and find out what spring part numbers are in it (by talking to the dealer's parts department). That will help you figure out which ones to order for yours.

My company truck is too old but you have given me a good idea! I'll go drive a new one that rides good and use that VIN.
Thanks,
Pat
