Default Ram Sport. you idea of what it is

So upon thinking about this, do you think the sport is a truck made for an individual that tackles the woods, towing, jobsites, allterrain type conditions. Or do you think its a garage queen and just looks pretty.

when i talk to people they say oh is that a sport model and i respond yes. they continue to ask me about its offroad capabilities and how it pulls loads and the the kick *** power it produces from the standard hemi.

Im on the fence. I always thought of a sport being the most outgoing model of them all. the kind of truck that can do it all and look great doing it. I know they make an outdoorsmen model but it just not the same as my truck. it lacks so much. I have every option that truck has and more.

I own a 2013 sport. its not my first Ram. Its a crew cab that is fully loaded with Ram Boxes, heavy duty towing package, skid plates, etc...
I trailer with it. i load it up and go hunting with it. its on the jobsite with me. love the truck.

when people look at it, the first words out of their mouth is holy sh*t, now thats a truck.

What do you guys think. If I were to compare my truck to a ford I think it would fall under the FX4 model. they are very similar. painted bumpers all around etc...

in my opinion sport means performance, not offroad. the sport is very close to the r/t.

My idea of what it is?

Simply a regular Ram with a nice interior, Hemi engine, and body color grille, bumper cover, and rear bumper.

That's all.

Same as the rest of the rams with a different appearance package. Take the mirrors, grill, and bumpers off a Bighorn and a Sport and you couldn't tell which was which

This.

Just looks and a package of certain options.

I happen to like the look better because I'm not a fan of tons of chrome. To each their own.

Um...the Longhorn isn't exclusive to Texas, it's available everywhere.

The Sport is merely a looks package, that's it. With the color-keyed bumpers and grille, it's supposed to look more "sporty", more of a basis for a sport truck for the street. Blank canvas if you will.

The Longhorn isn't available nationwide. I suspect it is mainly in the southern and western states. Here in MN you find the Bighorn package in its place.

As with any trim level, it isn't entirely looks. It also indicates a base level of options that come with the package.
