Default Just bought a dodge!

hey there, i just got my self a 2009 dodge ram 5.7 hemi 4wd

first time owning a dodge and so far i like it. although the guy who had the truck before did some performance upgrades and neglected to cover some loose ends, which is why im here

i have a couple questions, which should be easy enough to answer but every time i try to look it up, i get conflicting answers. so i hope some of you can help me out

whats the frequency of the tpms? the truck has aftermarket wheels and tires and he never put the sensors in

will the lack if tpms sensors cause the eps/bas light to come on?

ive got a couple more questions but ill stick with those for now

thanks in advance

Why not just put the sensors in? I have aftermarket wheels and tires in my 2009 too, and have the sensors in.

well thats the plan, but i dont know which ones to put in

some websites show stock tpms sensors at 315mhz and others show it at 433mhz. Plus they're aftermarket wheels and tires, so i didnt know if that affected it at all

Might be worth getting a quote from a dealer. You can use the p/n to verify specs, or just buy them from the dealer and if wrong exchange for the correct ones.

give the last 8 digits of your vin to the dealer parts dept and they will tell you the part # you should have then go from there to find the cheapest route.
