Default AM radio static.

Here's one for you techies out there, cause the dealership service dept. just looked at me with a "duh, never heard of this before" type of look. I listen to a lot of am radio in my 2012 1500, I know I am a minority but I like local talk radio and it's only on am. The problem is pretty much constant static from the am signal, but if I touch my brake pedal the static clears up immediately. I have tried this hundreds of times and each time I touch the brake pedal the signal clears up, take my foot of the brake pedal the static retuns every time. Suppose it's a grounding issue of some type, so maybe someone else has experienced this and has a solution. Thanks for reading and look forward to suggestions.

I not only get static on AM but also what sounds like electrical arching through the speakers, especially the front one. Haven't had it looked at yet. Also, check out this thread for similar problems.
