Warranty question
Hey guys was hoping maybe you can help me out. I have the lifetime power train warranty but I'm aware this issue does not fall under that but about 2 years ago the dealer had to replace a part in my ac unit believe it was the fan because it would make a loud noise but now two years out of my bumper to bumper warranty it's doing it again would this be covered since obviously it is a faulty part they put in there.
Typically there is a 12K mile warranty on dealer installed parts.

Any part installed under warranty...during the warranty period, expires at the end of the warranty period. For example... If it was put in @ 35,995 miles, it expires at 36,000 1/10.

That contradicts what DodgeCares has said in previous posts
Perhaps you're talking about different things... The warranty for dealer-installed OEM accessories is 3/36 (running boards, mud flaps, hitch, etc.). What TNtech is saying about factory parts (non-accessory repairs) replaced under warranty ending when vehicle warranty runs out sounds reasonable.

If you guys want to show us what the contradiction is, then we can discuss it.

Mopar parts replaced on a Chrysler Group LLC vehicle still covered by the Chrysler New Vehicle. Basic LimitedWarranty are warranted for the remainder of the New Vehicle Basic 3 year/36,000 Mile Limited Warranty, or for Mopar’s Basic 12 month LimitedWarranty from the original
installation date, whichever is more favorable to the customer.
