Default Radio won't turn off!!

2013 ram 1500 sport has 4500 Kms on it ( I've only had this new truck for two months) and the dash lights and radio won't shut off. Keys are out and the doors are locked , radio still playing and dash lights still on. Been doing this for about 10 hours now. Anybody have this problem?

disconnect the negative side of the battery right away! I can't believe you've let this go for 10 hours.

Did you install the latest software update? I think one of things it addressed was this exact issue.

Next time it happens, why not just pull the radio fuse... seems it would be much easier.

Ram Tuff,

I'm happy to see that the problem is resolved. If it does happen again i would recommend bringing it to a dealer to be diagnosed. They will be able to advise if there is an update or repair needed. If you have any questions please PM me.

Happens to me frequently if I'm on my phone (Bluetooth) and shut off the truck and get out. I need to hang up, put the key in and cycle it, then it turns off. Pretty pathetic if u ask me.

Sometimes when I start the truck, the radio goes to AM. Then there are times when I'm driving that it will switch over to AM, for on reason at all. I never listen to AM and FM has very bad reception.
