Default More Mirror Issues!!

Hey folks,

The heated mirrors stopped working on our '09 Ram last winter, now the signal/puddle lights don't work and the bed light doesn't come on with the interior lights/illuminated approach. The bed light does work with the "bed light" switch though. Are all these issues related? Just wondering if a flash would fix or if there is some other individual issues.....

Thanks for the help,

Bill

Did you check the fuse`s...? (see your owners manual for location of the fuses)
Use a volt meter on both sides of the fuse to check for battery voltage.

Maybe and Yes. I have seen several 4th gens with similar symptoms where a "reconfiguration" fixed the lamp issue. There also might be a flash (software update) for the TIPM and/or door modules to stop it from happening again.

Yes, I did check all the fuses. I couldn't see any labled for the heated mirrors but I checked them all and all were good.

Thanks for the reply!

We have to take it in for the Rear Diff recall so we will get it checked then.

Thanks again,

Bill

With that many electrical issues, I'd be looking for a connector that is not locked down on the bottom of the TIPM
