Default Truck Temp

I have an 09 Laramie CC with the auto heater controls , when it is cold I use the remote start the heater stays on delay until the coolant is warm enough to deliver heat, is your fan blowing cold air into a cold cabin.

Mine warms up pretty much ok, but it is interesting that the last place on the windshield to defrost is the area in front of the driver.

Outside temps will dictate how long it takes to warm up.

Well mine will start to warm up, and will start melting the snow on the windshield with the remote start. However, when I get about 8 miles from home is when I start getting full heat. I mean enough of an engine warm up to actually start turning it down a bit. Winter sucks.....

Default update

Well I found out the thermostat can not be replaced due to basically the engine programming can not be changed to accept the new thermostat.
??????
The service desk did say that a problem could be that the ac refrig. could be not filled full, and that would cause a problem.
Also sometime doing a reboot of the system could also help.
So this Friday I'm dropping the truck off to see if one of those will help.

I'm in alberta we se lots of -30 during the winter when it's that cold I leave it plugged in all night, usually takes 30 mins idling before its warm in the cab. It doesnt hurt to drive it before its up to temp but I usually want it warm in there so it's two full remote starts for sure and then I usually start it with the key until I'm ready to go.
