Default Removing badges

Have a 2014 Ram 2500 and I want to de-badge it. Are they just stuck on? Or are there pilot holes in the body? I'm a little nervous taking them off without knowing for sure.

The RAM on the grille is sank and snapped on as well. Everything else is glued on. Best way to remove them is get the glue warm with a hair dryer, then use a few strings of fishing line (or a bunch of floss) and get behind to pull. Plenty of folks have used a screw driver to pry them off, but I've seen a few scratches from that method when they weren't careful. After they're off, use some Goop-Off or WD-40 to remove the rest of the glue.

Goo Gone and 3M adhesive remover work great also in removing the residue.

To safely remove badges:
(front & rear badges are counter sunk, and have holes behind them)
Use 20lb rated fishing line called "Berkley FIRELINE"
1) Cut yourself a piece about 2ft in length
(be careful applying heat to new painted surfaces)
2) Place fishing line at the 12 o`clock position
3) Use a sawing motion while pulling downward
4) Once badge(s) removed, rub glue off with liquid glue remover
5) Wash area with DAWN dish detergent, apply couple coats of good cleaner wax

Do a search on you tube, plenty of videos showing you what to use, and how to do it. It's not that bad. I did doors, and 4x4 on the tailgate. Did not remove the ram heads. Good luck.

Go buy and use something MADE to take off adhesive glue and tape.

Get an eraser wheel
