Hello I am new here I am looking at buying a 2011 dodge ram 1500 5.7l hemi how do I know if this truck as the MDS hemi or a regular hemi

2006 on up are all MDS engines if its a 5.7 hemi

Not exactly. 2006+ 1500 Light Duty are all MDS w/5.7L Hemi
The Megacab is denoted as a 1500(06-08 only) but is mounted on a 2500 frame and has no MDS because it's essentially a 2500.
2009+ they dropped the 1500 Megas.
So, all 2009+ 1500's w/5.7L are MDS
