Default add volume steering control on a 2014 ?

Hello I just bought a sxt 2014. I got the uconnect 5.0 with Bluetooth. In the past I got a 2011 gmc sierra and the truck was pre wired for the volume and Bluetooth control. I was wondering if the ram was prewired for the volume and the track control ?

Thank you !

I looked into this just a couple weeks ago. It appears all I need to do is buy the hardware for each side of the wheel (back side). This is all based on the dealership shop books we looked at. The parts are not expensive so I am going to give it a shot.

good luck..

let us know the outcome i was under the impression that yes it can easily be changed out, but you also have to get the sales code changed and the computer re-programmed. the problem that i have heard is its not an option that a dealer can do (some are like turning on the rear camera option)

Hmmmm…. sounds interesting

I'd like to know the outcome also…..

If it's not a total cluster, I'd do this to my 5.0 UConnect radio also…..
