Could be a leaking windshield. Same thing happened to my dakota. I work at Safelite so I just and took it in and pulled out the leak detector and found where it was leaking and goobered some urethane there and it was good lol

dealer could not find a water leak service manager was not in
salesman told me about a company they hire that specilizes in finding leaks that will be my next step on monday morning

My guess would be windshield leak as well. That or a door seal leak.

We use one of those sometimes. They are worth every penny, especially to a busy shop. Water leaks eat up a ton of man hours.

My ram had a plug missing under the passenger seat. Found it day 2, dealer just ran a bolt into the open hole. They say it happens many times, could be something similar.

Just glad I found it.

There may be a rubber plugs on the under-side floor that may have come out. If you have driven in water it would get the carpet wet.

Same with my drivers side. We've hardly had any snow yet and I always knock it off my feet as I climb in the truck. The amount of water is what puzzled me. Used a shop vac on it and let it dry before putting the floor mat back down. Keeping a close eye on it now.

solution by my dealer now is wait for a rainy day to see if they can locate water leak
funny part is as i told them no one sat in the passanger side for 5 weeks as i was off wor for a surgery so drivers side seen a lot of wet snow off of boots carpet dri as a bone
