Question 2011 ram transmission problems

I have a 2011 Ram short box, Hemi, sport version. I live in the Northeast and yes it's very cold right now, 0 this morning. When I first start it the first stop light or stop sign there is a very slight thump and the engine stalls, it starts right back up and then is fine. The other thing that has started is again only after start up it seems to have trouble shifting and last night I think is was going to shift and the RPM's shot up like I had shifted into neutral. Anyone else having problems like this.

that does not sound good sorry to hear of ur troubles. have u checkd your fliud level? is it still under warranty? the second problem u describe is called a "flare shift" and can happen from low fluid level amongst other things it def needs to be checked out. i would not drive it like that because if it continues u will burn out the cluches in ur trans if there not done allready GL

Default Dodge Ram appears to be working

I brought the truck in to the Dealer Monday for service and they updated the software and "relearned" the tranmission. I'm skeptical but after two days it appears to be working fine!
