Factory remote start avail aftermarket yet?
Trying to see if the dealer is giving me the run around or if they are correct
Looking to install factory remote start. Truck did not come with it but I worked it into the sale. Now they are saying part is not available yet. They don't know when it will be available. I can find the part number on mopars site. Is this true? Mopar has the part number but waiting vendor to release the physical parts to the dealers?
Just going crazy with these sub zero days. When I purchased the truck they said they would have to order the parts. I guess shame on me for not asking more questions.

Not sure. My 09 didnt come with the remote start. I installed the D-BALL, ignition piggy back and it works with my factory fob. For around a hundrted bucks I bought the pigtail and the chip programmer. Mine now starts with three lock chirps. Since I have a piggy back alarm it took me a while to figure it out. So three lock chirps, one unlock chirp and startup. The programmer lets you fine tune the module at ur convience. There was a thread a while back here regarding it. Not sure if it will work on your 14. Good luck. Happy hunting. How Hard was the interior led lighting for you? Looking into doing the same on the interior.

Did you try this part number?

Maybe start calling dealers on the internet and see if someone has it in stock.
