Title says it all. I'm sure the answer is out there but it's a pia searching on my tablet. Can anyone verify that the factory tow mirrors that came on the 3rd gen 2500's will fit on my 4th gen 2500?

 

No, they're completely different. I have a set from each generation, set from my '09 4th generstion, and a set from my '07 3rd generation.

Check out that link, they run a special on the tow mirrors. I purchase my 4th generation tow mirrors from them. Very good customer service, and best price guaranteed regarding tow mirrors.

 

Not to hijack the thread, but would 4th gen 2500 Ram mirrors fit a 4th gen 1500? Found a deal on some heated, power, turn signal, puddle light mirrors but they are for a 2500.

 

Yep, same mirrors.

When I purchased my '09 Ram, they hadn't come out with tow mirrors for the 4th generation. I utilized the part numbers off the 2010 2500 Ram to order my mirrors through a local dealership. I just installed new ones on my '13 Ram a couple months ago, and everything is still identical, except for aa exterior sensor on the on the drivers side mirror.
