Default brake controller

I have a 2014 SLT 1500 Bighorn I was wondering if i can install a integrated brake controller from mopar parts? Because it didn"t come standard with the truck. Would it still work with the evic display? THank you

Yes you can but it will have to be activated by the dealer to show up in the evic

And you need to see if you have the 2 connectors under the dash. Some trucks only have one.

Good point my first ram 2012 only had one and could not be added but my new one has the two so Im good to go. U can call ur dealer and give ur vin and they can tell u which u have

Just curious. I have both the blue and i think yellow connectors. 09 Ram. Currently have a T3 installed. I wonder what would happen if I installed the factory controller???

The 09 did not have the factory controller as an option so it's not plug and play. I'd stick with the T3 out of simplicity.
