Headlight electrical plug replaceable?
Last night while changing a bulb I managed to break the spring-loaded plastic clip on one of my headlight connectors. This was one of the big ones on the outside of the headlight unit, not the one hooked to the bulb inside. One with the red slide-up locking tab. Does anyone know if I can buy a new plug and somehow replace the broken one? I know some of these automotive style connectors can be removed/replaced by using a pin or tool to remove the individual wires from the plug, but not sure about this particular style.
It looks something like one of these:

For now I just used a wire tie to hold both sides together tightly. But I'd like to fix it permanently.
Thanks,
Rob

Here is the site where you can search for available connectors and get the part number. It's on there. Put "headlamp" in the search box after you put your info in. You'll love that heat shrink they give you.

Super! I did find what I was looking for very quickly with your help.
So, can you tell me how the wires get removed from these connectors? Is it as simple as using a pointed tool to push down a tab on the end of the wire and then pull it out?
Thanks,
Rob

They come with new wires/terminals to slide into the new one. The kits come in pieces and you assemble them. That center white piece should pop off and you'll be able to see the terminal locks. I usually use a seal pick. Some are too small and there is a thin flat metal tool you can use.
