Hey guys,

I just got a 2014 ram 1500 with 3.92 and hemi. Ive read that the limited slip comes standard with the 3.92 only. Ive also heard its only an option. Basically im confused. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

 

Did your truck not come with a build sheet?

Originally, 3.92 came with limited slip. I believe it is now optional.

Traction control or not (computer applied brakes) I would get the LSD.

Do a burnout and count the number of black strips. That should answer your question. It will also be listed on your window sticker as to whether you have LSD or not, and if you paid extra for it or not. My 14 has 3.92's and LSD, but I'm pretty sure LSD was at extra cost. I will check the window sticker tomorrow.
