LED lights & another newbie question
New to forum & looking for a little help. I just "upgraded" from my good old reliable 2003 5.9 to a 2011 6.7. The truck has a flatbed on it & I recently replaced all the incandescent rear lights with LED's. They all work like they should, however, now when I start the truck it gives me an error on the dash saying that BOTH my "Right & Left rear turn signals are not working". I checked on them & they both seem to work just fine! Is there something I need to do to avoid getting this error?
Also was wondering if anybody runs their newer trucks using fuel stabilizer/anti-gelling? I also used to put in my older Dodge, but not sure if should with the newer one? Thanks for the help!

You need to put a resistor in or buy LEDs that have them in already. The rams electrical system is very sensitive. LEDs draw less current than regular bulbs. The computer sends a signal to the lights and reads the resistance that's why ur getting the bulb out msg. Same thing happened to me. I just added resistors to each bulb and everything worked fine. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the response & sorry for the dumb question....do I need to install a resistor on every light? I have 4 lights on EACH side that blink when I have my turn signal on. It also appears that the resistor will also take care of the fast blinking too?
