ecodiesel reg. cab where are they produced
Hi
Have ordered an Ecodiesel 1500 regular cab, and I cant figure out where it would be produced, I know that the quad cab and the crew cab are produced in Michigan, the motors come from overseas, Italy I think.
The regular cab truck I have now V6 8 speed was made in Mexico.
Are they producing Ecodiesel regular cab trucks in Mexico Saltillo ?
Or are all Ecodiesel trucks made in U.S.A.?
Anybody privy to this info, cant seem to get a straight answer from the dealership.

Oh
I thought you meant I was in the wrong section, I probably am, but I found out that all regular cab trucks are "assembled" in Saltillo Mexico, also the dealer told me they are assembling Ecodiesel there now, with diesel motors shipped from VM Motori Italy, but I'm not so sure whether they have those motors actually in Saltillo or even if Saltillo is tooled up for this configuration?
Just have to wait and see I guess.
regards
Warren Truck Assembly Plant in Michigan.
Conflicting information from dealership but apparently extended cab and crew cab are assembled in Michigan plant. Regular cab assembled in Saltillo Mexico.
Ecodiesel motors shipped from VM Motori Italy friends of Fiat.
It's fine posting it here. There is only a Cummins section for now. Don't want to mix them up.

O.K. Thanks.
