Hey guys, installing an aftermarket head unit in my truck. 2011 Ram 2500, stock sound system, RES radio, no steering wheel controls, no uconnect, no factory amplifier as far as I can tell. From what I understood I needed the c2r chy4 adapter. I have an aftermarket amplifier for two subs. I have everything wired up on the PAC harness/adapter except the solid blue power antenna wire, and the blue/white remote amp turn on. The instructions are confusing but basically says I have to connect my remote power wire from my head unit to the blue white wire on the harness whether or not I have a factory amp. So for those that have an aftermarket amp for their subs and did not have a factory amp, how did you hook up these wires for your sub amp?

 

I ended up connecting the blue white wire on the pac harness with my remote amp wire to the remote amp wire on the head unit. Amp turns on fine, have not had any problems so far.
