Question Rear Brake Pads - 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab (2WD) 5.7L Hemi

I bought brake pads for my 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Crew Cab 5.7L Hemi, front and back. For the back I got Duralast Gold (DG 1096). The Autozone website says this is the right size, and the gentleman at the store picked this size also. They are larger than what is on the vehicle. What is the deal?

Take them back and tell them they don't fit.

I took them back to Autozone and asked to see a pair for a regular cab. The rivet pattern looked the same and it was the right size so I exchanged them. Bingo! Works fine lasts a long time...

Not sure if this applies to Rams, but on my Dakota there was a brake design change midyear, so two different sizes of brake shoes, depending on the month of the truck built. I ended up having to remove one and take it in for them to finally get me the right size. Glad you got is figured out.
