Black Dodge Ram Badge Question
Hey guys
Happy Pre-thanksgiving and Thank you to ANYONE serving in the military or has served and taken time away from their families especially on holidays, I mean that from my heart, so I truly thank you.
Now my question.
I want to get my front and rear dodge ram badge emblem located on both the tailgate and front grill, in that black you see on the 13 and 14 model. Now they sell these, but i have no clue if they will fit a 09. Has anyone tried to see if they will fit, or other alternatives if you have taken yours off and painted them, tips to ensure the paint doesn't chip, i guess plastic paint...
any help is appreciated

Apparently you are in luck. Mopar says the emblems are for 2009-2015:

That's what I found, the front is the one with no mopar part, I can only find the 13+ models. But I don't know if the front badge on the 13's is different than the 09's. Has anyone taken them off, and painted them with some sort of plastic krylon paint

Have you considered Plasti dip?
It works very well for emblems and is completely removable if you don't like it. There is a gloss coat available too if you want a shiny emblem instead of flat black.
Just google Plastidip. You can get the Black and Gloss at most Lowes stores
