2010 ram 1500 passenger door wont open
yes it is cold, but i have the truck in a heated garage and has been inside all night and day, the inside handle feels very loose so i am assuming the rod has either broken or come off, but i can't get the panel off enough to see it with the door closed.

I do not think it is possible to remove the door panel with the door closed, I had talked to a "Service expert" from Dodge and they said I would probably have to break the interior door panel to get it open, then of course buy a new panel...this will be my very last resort of course

Get someone with a slim Jim to jimmy the door open?
This would be an LEO, wrecker operator or maybe locksmith person.
Not saying I know this would work. Just throwing out a thought.

I would try to remove everything holding the panel and to see if it could be popped loose at the top, you might be able to see that rod from the top and then find some method to grab it and open the door. If you can't do that, maybe a piece of the plastic near the center can be removed for a bit of access, but if you end up needing to break the panel, find a local auto salvage yard that has some - they'll be a lot cheaper there.

Problem is that everything that holds the panel is around the perimeter of the door and you have to be able to lift the panel up to release the top of it.
