Ford has the same problem. Not sure why rubber gaskets are not used here, or a pocket for the lens like on older trucks.

For the rare chance you may need to change a 3rd brake light bulb the silicone works amazing. Doesn't dry out and rot. Use the marine grade and you can't go wrong. wouldnt go back to using weather stripping now and even if you have to remove its all of 5 min to reapply a new bead.

I have a 2010 with the 3 brake light out. I also noticed water in the wells under my back seat. I hope this thread will fix it.

Any good place to get the silicon or any style recommended?
