trans lines leaking - again
Really? I guess I should look into that. I know that the trans lines were not covered by the lifetime powertrain.
from my owners warranty 2009
2.4 Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty
Transmission: transmission case and all internal
parts; torque converter; speed sensors; pressure sensors;
drive/flex plate; transmission range switch; transmission
control module; bell housing; oil pan; seals and gaskets for
listed components only.
Another thing to notice is that the Transmission Control Module (TCM) is also covered.

Nice. Guess I'll let them mess with it
They fixed it under warranty. Did wind up paying $50 to replace the filters while they had it apart. They found that the left outer tie rod end was bad again. They were both replaced under the recall at about 58K miles, one of them was replaced again at 80K miles - can't remember which one. I think I'll be looking for a better aftermarket part rather than sticking another disposable Mopar rod end on there.
And there was no leak in the trans line, there was a loose hose clamp on a power steering line that was dripping.
