By chip do you mean a tune? I didnt even know chips were available anymore...if you want a tune it's expensive, and really not worth it unless you have mods.

A custom tune is the best bang for the buck power wise. Yes they are expensive but it's a good power gain. And I respectfully disagree. It helps stock vehicles too. If you don't want to spend a ton, go with a cheaper tuners. Almost all will be $350+. If you don't have that, don't bother. Ebay chips are bad for your vehicle. All they do is trick your vehicle by telling it that it's getting colder air all the time. This is very bad. Tuners adjust your vehicle and still adjust like normal like a stock vehicle. All those chips on ebay are are $.03 resistors in a box. I bought one when I was 17 for my firebird before they even started putting them in boxes and ended up burning up an exhaust valve... think about it....you going to trust your vehicle to a random person on ebay that claims ridiculous gains for $10 or a person that has tuned vehicles for years with realistic claims for $400?
Yeah that's what I meant. I didn't know that chips weren't available anymore. But I have looked at hypertech tuners and they look nice but I've heard that they are crappy. Any other ideas?
