I'm looking at adding some halo led headlights to my truck(probably recons), but I don't want to leave my fog lights stock. I haven't really found to much out there, has anyone installed aftermarket fog lights on their truck?
Hey there, I have no actual experience but the other day I talked to a friend in Chicago with his new fog light, he got VisionX halo for $75 and he's very impressed with it.
Unfortunately the shape of our fog lights housings makes changing them out and looking good almost impossible. I have Rigid LED lights flush mounted in my bumper in the plastic trim panel below the license plate light. Send me your e-mail adress and ill send you a picture. They are super bright and don't blind other drivers. Never had anyone complain. They are so bright that when you turn on the factory fog lights with the Rigids already on you almost can't tell they are on. Rigid is not cheap import junk. They are top of the line. Over 3,000 lumens and they only draw 34 watts for the pair!. Halfway decent Halogen lights would be 110 watts per pair. Also, no bulbs to ever change on LED's and no issues with vibrations.
