Default ABS, SER 4WD and traction control lights all on.

I had new tires installed at PEP Boys and once they finished with the tires I drove about 300 miles and all those lights turned on. ABS, SER 4WD and Traction control lights. took it to a different pep boys they told me that the Right ABS sensor and wheel hub were going bad. REPLACED then.
350 miles and all the lights are on again. then they go off, but come back on once i get on the highway.

not sure what to do. PEP boys says they need to run a COMPUTER DIAGNOSIS to find out the real problem. can i get someones opinion. i have never had someone tell me they need to do a 200.00 computer test to find a problem. i dont want to blow 200.00 more dollars on this. and only find out the problem is something else. i already spent 500.00 on getting the hub replaced. if they even did that.

thanks. David

Don't let Pep Boys diagnose $hit. Take it to a pro.

What makes you think they're going to get it right with another 200 after you gave them 500 to do a hub...and they were wrong.

Tell them to refund your money on the hub.

And check your tire sizes make sure all 4 match and are the same size as the ones they took off.

All tires are same size.

well they did the work originally, so i want them to fix what they did. then i will take it to 4X4 shop by my house.

but what about the issue. how do i get it fixed with out spending more money. most shops dont use a Full computer diagnosis to figure out the problem. most pull the code and work to fix it. last dodge i had. the guy pulled the code and fixed it. problem solved.

Check the wiring harness on the wheel sensor that they replaced - can't imagine why they replaced an entire hub. If the harness looks OK then take it to the dealer and have them pull the codes for which sensor is acting up. Why someone would let a Pep Boy monkey touch their truck is beyond me, let alone pay them $200 to diagnose anything.

Ok. This will sound stupid but just went through similar issue with my 4th gen. Check power steering fluid. For some reason sensor is tied in with abs, Trac control and service 4x4 sensors. My fluid was low added to mid point and all lights are out now. Good luck
