Default Gladiator QR900 MT Tires

I was just curious if anyone else has bought some of these tires. I cant figure what tire pressure to run so they don't wear uneven. The tire says 65psi max. I just purchased them all 4 brand new at 860$ Tread pattern looks awesome, i had them installed and been running them for about 2 weeks and im really impressed. There really quiet for a mt and they track awesome on the highway. I want to get as much life out of them as i can.

I don't know why you'd run them any different pressure than stock, unless they have a lower ply rating. In that case you'd want to bump it up a bit to compensate for the less stiff sidewall.

Max PSI is just what the tire is rated for and has nothing to do with the best pressure for the application. PSI is Pounds per Square Inch; I know you know that, but spelling it out may highlight that as long as the Pounds of weight on the tire or Square Inches of contact patch hasn't changed, PSI should remain the same. Because of differences in sidewall and tread stiffness it's kind of hard to judge if there is a difference in contact patch, but generally speaking it's not going to be too different for tires of the same size and load range.

So going from the stock 275 60 r20 to a 35 12.50 r20 where the contact patch is bigger and the tire doubles ply rating is the pressure suppose to be the stock, less or more?

275 60 r20 = 33 10.8 r20 vs 35 12.50 r20 thats 2 in taller and 2.7 in wider on the patch

I personally would start out at stock and see how things go. I would definitely not lower the pressure unless you see wear signs indicative of overpressure.

Did you ask the place you bought them what their recommendation was?

42psi is working good right now. I bought them 8 months ago and never thought about asking them. I was slowly saving for rims to mount them too. Im gonna keep an eye on them.

Turns out these tires vibrate horribly, i have had them balanced 3 times and the weights dont move and the tire doesnt rotate on the rim. Discount Tire put it on there machine and showed me how unlevel they spin. I did get to use them in some really soft stuff here in Texas after all this rain. These tires are perfect except the vibration!

Was able to figure it wasn't the tires vibrating its something else, but i ended up selling them to my friend and he put them on his truck with no problem and i bought smaller 305 55 R20 tires for my truck, which still vibrates
