Unhappy Wheel Trim Pieces Popping Off

I have a 2014 Ram 1500 Laramie trim w/ 11,000 miles on it. While washing it, I noticed that the trim pieces around the wheel wells are starting to separate from the body panel. This is happening to varying degrees on all four pieces. Has anyone else had this problem, where the adhesive used to hold these trim pieces on has failed, and the trim is separating from the body panels?

Welcome to DF. Moving to the correct section. Have you had the dealer look at it? Should be covered under factory warranty.

Sorry, I don't have info on the trim pieces to help you. I just stopped by to say be thankful your wheel well isn't rusting like mine on my 2010 is.

After reading thread, I decided to venture across the street this morning. Neighbor has a 2013 Laramie. Fender flares (which is what I'm assuming you mean by wheel trim) were tight against the body. However I did notice quite a few small chips in the paint of the rear ones...

You should a have seen vehicles 30 years ago in northern "salt states". Grew up in upstate NY and I had a 1982 Jeep pickup by the time it was 5 years old I had put 2x8s in for the bed and a sheet of polyurethane painted plywood for the floor boards. Wheel wells, tailgate and rocker panels were toast. By 7 years you could grab a handful of frame in spots and crumple it like dried leaves...
