Default Heated seats and steering wheel issues

When I turn on my heated seats or steering wheel, the light comes on for 3 sec and goes off. Any ideas?

It is a 2014 lonestar v6 8.4an manual heat.

It's probably a break or burnt spot on your heating element in the seat.
This only happens on one seat, I'm guessing?

I don't think so.

I'd say something more serious. But it should be under warranty... no? That means - take it to the dealer. Ever hear of Occam's Razor? (wow, even spellcheck knows Occam...)

As dwaldmann mentioned, I would definitely recommend bringing your vehicle to a dealership.

Which light is it that this is occurring with? Is it affecting the functionality of the heated seats and steering wheel?
