Default Windshield edge bubbles

I’ve noticed that my 2012 Ram 2500 has what looks like little chips or bubbles on the top edge of the windshield. My service writer said he looked at several trucks on the lot, and they all had it too. According to him, it's just the way the windshield was made. It doesn’t look like it is delaminating, and it hasn’t changed since I noticed it several months ago.
I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed this on their truck.

I think its nearly impossible to prevent the bubbles from appearing.
But maybe you should check if the laminate coating is peeling or detaching.

I've been looking at trucks in parking lots, and here at work. You gotta be stealthy in the parking lots - some folks don't like people poking around their trucks. I work in a Fleet Management office, and we have a lot of vehicles in and out of here every day. All the trucks I checked have it. I guess it's normal, but it still don't look right to me.
