I agree. Not much choice as far as this goes anyway - I have the dual exhausts, and I'm not going to buy a whole new single exhaust AND a new bumper without the cutouts...

UPDATE: I actually went ahead and blew a little over $1K and bought the Corsa system.

I am SO GLAD that I did! The Corsa's sound is completely different than the MBRP system. It's not even close. But the best part - NO drone. Well, if I'm being totally honest - I have noticed a slight drone at highway speeds, but no one other than someone who is listening for it will ever notice.

The MBRP's drone was so bad that I would start to get a headache - my teeth would hurt! - after only about 20 minutes on the highway.

It's like the difference between driving a Gremlin and a Ferrari.

I have never had any mod from Corsa before, but at this point, I HIGHLY endorse them. Sure, it cost twice as much as a MBRP or even a Flowmaster, but it's WAY more than twice as good as the MBRP.

Seems an odd choice of comparison, seeing that a Gremlin (in top operating condition) is likely to be far quieter than a Ferrari....

I'm not really against MDS, but I'd put it back to stock if I were you, just for the sound.

The cheapest aftermarket muffler (just the muffler) for my Mercedes was around $2700.

$1000 for a cat back sounds like a bargain!

Dynomax for sure and a couple of other brands I think, use a plate attached to a spring built into the outlet if the muffler to control drone depending on the exhaust flow of the truck. I think the louder the exhaust the louder drone.

The technology is standard on newer gm trucks from the factory.

I have a flowmaster 50 SUV on my truck. I only get the deep drone when poking along through town around 25 mph. I never hear it on the highway. The truck is louder than stock but you can have a conversation without talking loud. It was important that I be able to hear my kids in the back seat.
