Anyone know why out of the blue my camera would quit working. I get a black screen with the "Check entire surroundings" but no picture. Got back from a sledding trip, had the truck washed and it was working when backing into the garage. I switched an actuator for the HVAC this morning well away from the radio. I've since pulled the radio, reconnected all wiring, installed software for the radio, unhooked the battery for about 30 minutes, cleaned all the wires connecting as well as in the tailgate..can these things go bad just sitting there?
Any other things to check?

 

It started working again until the day after I washed it again.. have a new camera on the way. Hope it solves the problem.
