Yes, your rear should be at least level with that much weight. Like I said before, your tongue weight might be too light.

Thank you for the reply. But the rear is two inches higher than the front without a load and airbags deflated. After looking at a bilstein website, they made reference to the ram having a rake from the factory front to rear with the rear being higher than the front. In my case two inches higher. They advertise a 0-2 3/4 inch lift in their shock to raise the front up to the level of the rear. I wonder if this heighth difference may be contributing to the bounce. I appreciate your response.

The manual states you should be able to lock up the brakes and then decrease the gain just so the brakes don't lock then leave it there. Thanks.
I have the integrated trailer brake in the dash. It seems to work for me. Do you have it set to heavy electric or light electric. I have mine set to heavy.

It kind of gets into a rythmn until you drive thru thru them into the road that doesnt have the dips. I called equalizer, the wdh manufacturer and they were eager to help. They told me they have heard of this issue before. I sent out some measurements and photos and they will get back to me. They also said there maybe no fix for this and may have to live with it.
I have an appt with rv dealer in two weeks to check the hitch setup. Don't know what my next step will be. I'm doubting whether hd shocks will fix this issue either. Do you kind gentlemen have any other ideas? Thank you
I have the ActiveLevel, Tow a 33 1/2 foot travel trailer and I have the same issue. My truck is level and the weight distribution and tongue weight have all been checked. I had the stock rear RAM shocks replaced at 40k due to a fluid leak. The dealer replaced them with Bilsteins. My front seems dippy. When I get Bilsteins in the front I will let you know if the shocks fix the problem.

I have my brake module set at light electric due to the weight being less than 10k. I was thinking of trying heavy electric but dealer had no clue what that would do. Is your trailer under 10k? Thank you

My trailer is around 8k. When I tried it, it seemed like Heavy Trailer gave me more brake.

Anyways if you try it, try it out on a frontage road with little traffic just to be safe.

Thanks, I'll try that on monday. I have an appointment in two weeks to have trailer brakes checked just in case they are not tight enough. I only have about 400 miles on them. Thanks again.

I just found out there are airshocks in the front as I have the ActiveLevel. I guess I won't be getting the Bilsteins in the front. I just hope that the airshocks last forever as they are $1600 per side.
