Default ignition problem

I have a 2009 ram 1500. it has a keyless entry with an wireless ignition node part number of P05026366AM. My fob key will not go in smoothly and the truck seems to have no power. I cannot start it, the interior lights wont even go on. I can force the fob key in and turn it but absolutely nothing happens. There is a faint clicking sound inside, under the drivers side dash, sounds like clock hands that is continuous.

is it the node, the battery or something else???

Is the battery good? What were the circumstances leading up to this issue?

the battery was fine. the last time I started it was at a store and the alarm went off, but it started and I drove home. the next morning, nothing. wouldn't even turn over. I couldn't find anything left on and I believe all the doors were shut. I'm gonna try jumping it tonight when my wife gets home with the other vehicle. any other ideas?

Hi gbert7765,

How can you help? I'm in sulphur springs Texas and I think my biggest problem now is getting it there without it costing an arm and a leg
