Will a K&N part number 57-1561 intake work on my 5.7 2016? It states fitment up to 2014 only, but I would think fitment is the same. Ultimately I am looking for a CARB exempt intake and the suggested intake would be first choice.

 

Don't know, but their website lists three other part numbers that will work. 63-1561, 77-1561KP & 71-1561.

 

Yes, I did see the other intakes noted, however, none of those are CARB exempt here in California where random roadside smog checkpoints are popping up more and more.

 

Add another reason to the list of why I would never live in California. I guess you are out of luck on the K&N side. Volant makes one that is CARB exempt. Item# 16857. CARB EO# D-526-4

I know S&B has CARB exempt intakes. Try to contact them to know if they have one for your truck.
