Default How hard is it to swap a 2010 4.7 for a 5.7?

I heard that the 4.7 has problems so if it craps out I want to know how hard and expensive it would be

The 4.7 was a decent engine. I like the 5.7 better, but nothing really wrong with the 4.7 as long as basic maintenance is followed.

As for cost of swap, 99% of the time it is cheaper to trade your truck in on a 5.7 version. The loss/difference between the two, assuming everything else being close to equal (miles, trim level, etc.), will be less than the cost of the upgrade. So unless you want to do it "just because you can" or the 4.7 truck has sentimental value, I'd consider a trade before I'd do an engine swap.

Never had one issue with my 4.7. Just don't ever overheat it.
