Open up the FOB and make sure the little black contact points are clean and are not coming unglued from the electrical board. If either of these are happening, clean up the contact points and re-glue them back onto the board. The black coating on the contact points are highly conductive so if they are off at all it'll make your FOB go nuts. That's what happened with my previous 2010 RAM. Wish I would have self-repaired mine before paying $300+ for new FOBs from the dealer...
I had the same problem. Opened the fob and cleaned the little cup type connections. There were small black particles as described above. I used a Q-tip and some rubbing alcohol. I didn't grease anything and put it back together. Works great.
