A while back I started to do some mods to my 2012 5.7 truck. I figured I would document and create some helpful videos for other Ram owners who want to see the process and are considering these products. Disclaimer; I don't work for any of these folks and have no affiliation, just a DIYer who loves his truck.

Started with a COI from S&B (video links below) and then installed Mufflex's DOD18 bolt on kit with Magnaflow 18" can. The install was easy and fun to do since Mufflex did all the hard work for you. Some basic tools and a couple hours and it's time to release the Kraken

I have the same muffler on my truck and love it!! perfect combo of deep low idle, loud full accelerations, and mild cruising sound!! I savedmoney and just bough the muffler for $110 and had my local muffler shop burn itin for $75 and some change

 

Yeah, it is a nice sound for sure. You certainly can save a few bucks if you have a good muffler shop around. Thanks for the comment.
