Default 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 cranks but won't start

I Have 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 That Will Crank But Not Start. Since i disconneted battery, i had to reset the security system which did the job at 1St. But a week later, same problem. It cranks and sounds like its gonna start but doesnt. It has started a few times but it will start to idle up like normal but after a few seconds it dies. I bought a new battery and new terminal ends cuz they needed replacing anyway hoping that was the problem, but it isnt. Every time the battery gets disconnected, I reset the security system as this will prevent it from starting also. When I ran diagnostic by machine and by doing the trick to show codes (turning key to on quickly 3 times and leaving to on position on 3rd time will show code where the mileage is) no codes are shown. It sounds like it's gonna start, (like accelorator needs to be pumped like u could do on car with no fuel injection) but doesn't. Been without my truck for over a week now, need some help please and thank you

Mine did the same thing. Mechanic traced it and found it was the TIPM malfunctioning to the fuel pump. Got worse, wouldn't even start after resetting by pulling battery cable, and then killed battery because it kept the fuel pump running, even when shut off. Mechanic bypassed TIPM with relay and fuse and all works like a charm again.

I know this is an old thread but.... Yes, there is a bypass kit available now for the trucks OR you can use the kit from the Durango and Grand Cherokee fuel pump relay recall.
